Login Error: "Too many requests..."

Use these troubleshooting steps if you're attempting to login to the Pura Vida Bitcoin Wallet for mobile devices and receive the following error:


"Too many requests. Please wait before requesting another text message."


Wait 10 Minutes

Our authentication system will only send a limited number of text messages to the same phone number within a short period of time. Often, the best thing to do to get past this message is wait 10 minutes and try again.



Solve the Captcha

Each time you attempt to login you will be presented with a Captcha challenge so that our system will know that you're not a computer program or a robot. If you fail to solve this Captcha, it may let you move past, but will then block your requests for an access code.


If waiting and trying again doesn't help, try the following:


- First, remove any "Zoom" settings you have enabled on your phone. Often the Zoom functionality of phones will push the Captcha challenge off-screen and users will not see it or be able to solve it.

- Next, restart the wallet and start the authentication flow over again.


If you continue to have problems, please feel free to open a support ticket and one of our support staff will contact you as quickly as possible.
